The new Takatori Church replaces the temporary “Paper Church”, which has been sent to a new site in Taiwan. Interior and exterior can be connected by opening the sliding shutters that seperate the courtyard from the low buildings around. The chapel takes the form of a truncated cone, emerging from a corner and rising above the low-rise buildings.
